Nina G. Cox – Bedford
Nina G. (Collier) Cox, 98, of Bedford, passed away at 9:51 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Indiana University Health Hospital, Bedford.
Born April 27, 1916, in South Boston, Indiana, she was the daughter of William A. and Martha Etta (Glass) Collier. She married Hubert Cox; and he preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Rodman High School. Nina retired from General Electric. She was a member of Englewood Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her friends at senior citizens of Lawrence County. She also loved her cat Baby.
Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Hackney, of Bedford, and Cathy (Jerry) Towle, of Bloomington; grandchildren Danielle Towle, New Albany, and Denisa (Shannon) Childers, Bedford; great-grandchildren, Jacey (Kamden) Sokeland, Evansville, and Abby Childers, Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert; two sons, Arnold Enochs and Michael Keith Huff; one daughter, Sandra Cranfield; two granddaughters, Lisa Samples and Sherry Pridemore; six brothers, Ervin Collier, Floyd Collier, Dewey McPherson, Howard Collier, Bascom Collier, and Marvin Collier; three sisters, Minnie Rutheford, Allie Boling, and Nellie Brown.
Funeral service will be on Monday, February 9, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Pastor David Ferry officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from Noon till 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert Lee
Robert E. Lee, 50, of Bedford, died Friday, February 6, 2015 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 19, 1964 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Russell and Harriett (Box) Lee. He married Norma Bryson on January 10, 1998 and she survives. He was a mechanic for the Lawrence Co. Highway Dept. and was a member of Eagles #654.
Survivors include his wife, Norma, of Bedford; children, Robert Lee and wife, Lisa, of Springville, Whitney Lee of Leesville, James Lee of Bedford, Lyndsey Lee of Bedford; four grandchildren, Keiahnna, Zoey, Haley and Kylee; a brother, Russell Lee and wife, April, of Bloomington; two sisters, Pam Wessell and husband, Rick, of Bedford and Georgia Craig of Leesville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jeffrey.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 10th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bob Courson officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, February 9th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to 7th and 8th Grade Boss Football League.

Irene Ray – Connersville
Irene Ray, 93, formerly of Bedford, died Friday in Connersville at the home of her daughter.
Arrangements are pending at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
Nancy Louise Brown – Ft. Ritner
Nancy Louise Brown, 63, of Ft. Ritner, died at 6:31 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2015, at her residence.
Born February 28, 1950, in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of Carl and Mary Louise (Tidd) Stapleton. She married Estell Ray Brown on August 9, 1985; he died January 3, 2014. She worked as a bookkeeper for D&D Saw Shop, Washington, Co.; was a Registered Nurse and a Certified Medical Assistant and had attended Ft. Ritner Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Casey Cheyenne Brown and Toby Lee Cox and his special friend, Alisha Hardin, all of Ft. Ritner; four grandchildren; one sister, Jane Markham, Lawrence Co.; and one uncle, Jody Stapleton, Ft. Ritner.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2105, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, with Pastor Dan Voorhies officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
