Gloria Jean Cauble – Mitchell
Gloria Jean Cauble, 41, of Mitchell, passed away at 7:05 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2015, at her residence.
Born February 22, 1973, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Donald Eugene and Mary Ann (Cheek) Cahill.
Gloria was a member of the Mitchell Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her companion, William Scott Cook, Mitchell; several aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews
Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Clifford Gugin – Bedford
Clifford Gugin, 81, of Bedford, died at 4:26 am on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Core Nursing and Rehab. in Bedford.
Born April 3, 1933 in Michigan, he was the son of Harold and Margaret Mongene (Standridge) Gugin. He married Karen Sue Woodward on July 13, 1963 and she survives. He was a painter and a member of the Dive Christian Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Karen, of Bedford; two sons, David Gugin and Danny Gugin both of MI; a daughter Diana Johnson of MI; several grandchildren including Mikayla Elizabeth and Shayna Helene Winters and Chandall Raynea Gugin; two sisters, Vernetta Hansen of Cedarville, MI and Jesse Clark of Flint, MI and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Thomas Gugin; two daughters, Laura Lea Gugin-Winters and Kathy Jean Gugin (in infancy); two brothers, Harold and Cecil Gugin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 31st at the Dive Christian Church with Johnny Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Christian Cemetery with military rites accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion and D.A.V. Chapter 2. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, January 31st at the Dive Christian Church.

Kenneth E. Baker Sr. – Bedford
Kenneth E. “Kenny” Baker, Sr., 74, of Bedford, passed away at 6:58 A.M. on Monday, January 26, 2015 at his residence.
Born January 31, 1940, in Lawrence County, Indiana, he was the son of Millard Baker and Pearl (Voorhies) Baker.
He married Wanda Lee Farris on January 22, 1960; and she survives.
He retired from Laborers Local Union #741, in Bloomington, IN. He was a member of the local union #741. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Army. He loved being in the woods, hunting mushrooms, ginseng, and yellow root. He was the rock of his family, and he raised and spoiled lots of children and grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Wanda, of Bedford; one son, Joseph M. Baker, of Bedford; Nine grandchildren, Ricky (Robin) Holmes, Eric (Cherie) Holmes, Sarita Holt, Timber (Noah) Browning, Tonya Feathers, LaCosta (Ryan) Eads, Cody (Nicki) Baker, Kortney Baker, Heather (Gery) Davis; Eighteen great-grandchildren, Tyler, Cruz, C’Aira, Celina, Emma, Bella, Bear, Tyson, Cheyenne, Shaylynn, LaKota, LaKeylah, Jasmine, Rylan, Aaliyah, Sylas, Sebastian, and Kaysen; one sister, Reva (Dale) Monday; two brothers, Jimmy Baker and Joe (Mary) Baker; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four children, Wanda Baker, Kenny Baker Jr., Tony Baker, and Suzann Holt; and eight brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will be in House of Prayer Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
