Thomas Charles Priddy – Bedford
Thomas C. Priddy, 77, of Bedford, died at his residence on Friday, December 26, 2014.
Born on February 14, 1937 in Bedford, he was the son of Charles Eithel Priddy and Thelma (Garland) Priddy. He began working for the US Postal Service in June of 1957 and retired after 57 years, spending 20 years as Bedford’s Postmaster.
Survivors include two sons, Tom Priddy and his wife Polly of Noblesville, IN, and Todd E. Priddy of Bedford; one daugher, Teresa Long of Naples, FL; two grandchildren, Alanna and Charlie Priddy; one brother, Kirby Priddy; one
sister, Sherri Scott.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Priddy.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter
Mortuary with Millard Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

Roberta Parks – Bedford
Roberta Parks, 59, of Bedford, passed away on December 26, 2014 at 4:30 a.m. at Bloomington Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Cremation was chosen.

Dena LeKay Randolph – Bedford

Dena LeKay Randolph, 42, of Bedford, passed away at 6:25 a.m. Friday, December 26, 2014, at Indiana University Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born May 17, 1972, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Charles E. and Bettina (Jaggers) Randolph.
Dena was employed at Wal-Mart.
Survivors include her children, Cheyanna Randolph, Bedford, Daniel J. “D. J.” Randolph, Bedford, Alicea Randolph, Bedford; parents, Charles and Bettina Randolph, Mitchell; sister, Jodi Randolph, Bedford
Her brothers, Darren Randolph and Jason Wyatt Randolph preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, at Haverly Funeral Chapel with Brother Mark Fugate officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. till 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Dorothy McCart – Mitchell

Dorothy McCart, 99, of Mitchell, passed away at 7:20 p.m. Sunday, December 28, at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
Born June 23, 1915, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Oscar and Cora (Tincher) Williams. She married Chriss Russell McCart March 2, 1931, and he preceded her in death December 3, 1993.
Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Spice Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Joyce Ferguson, Mitchell; 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Lorene Ashley, Bedford; daughters-in-law, Harriet McCart, Bedford, Oleta McCart, Bedford.
Her parents; husband; sons, Dale McCart and Norman McCart; son-in-law, Mike Ferguson; and siblings, Clifford Williams, Robert Williams, Harry Williams, Jesse Williams, Warren Williams, Maxine Hodges, Betty Ritchison, and Mary Kathleen Sheeks, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Dwight Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
