Bonnie J. Busick – Orleans
Bonnie J. Busick, 90, of Orleans, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 2:04 p.m. at Paoli Health and Living Community in Paoli, Indiana.
She was born November 7, 1924 in Salem, Indiana, the daughter of Samuel Manson and Hazel (Johnson) McClintock. She married Leopal Busick on December 30, 1940 and was married for 73 years; he preceded her in death on June 29, 2014.
She worked several years at Travelers and was co-owner and operator of Busick Flower Shop for 28 years. She was a member of the Orleans United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Orleans Lions Club, Phi Beta, American Legion Auxiliary, charter member of the Orleans BPW Club, and past chairman of the Orleans Dogwood Festival.
She is survived by one daughter, Jill Morgan (William) of Orleans; two granddaughters, Aimee Ketterer(Jim) of Avon, Indiana, Heather Henderson (Dave) of Orleans; five great grand children, Mats, Evan and Cameron Klein all of Avon, Indiana, Whitley and Drew Henderson both of Orleans; one foster grandson, Janaka Biyanwila of Sydney, Australia; one brother, Donald McClintock; three sisters, Violet Magner, Juanita Gromer, Marilyn Jones
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Mildred McClintock, Beulah Freed, Maggie Jean; two brothers; Carl McClintock and William McClintock
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home in Orleans with Reverend Jacqueline Munson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Orleans .Friends are invited to visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
