Doyle Packwood, Sr. – Bedford
Doyle Packwood, Sr., 76, of Bedford, died at 7:51 am on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at his residence.
Born January 15, 1938, in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Raymond R. and Geneva Opal (Bunn) Packwood. He was a graduate of Oolitic High School with the class of 1956. He married Ginger Hardwick on November 16, 1974 and she preceded him in death on November 30, 1990. He retired after thirty-eight years of service with RCA. He was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness.
Survivors include a son, Doyle Packwood, Jr. of Bedford; a cousin, Jim Mullenix of Washington; a niece, Kim Jewell of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two brothers, Robert and Wilbur Packwood and a sister, Nola Lavell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm on Friday, November 7th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Art Ingerman officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am until the hour of service on Friday, November 7th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness.

Malissa Ann Ratliff – Mitchell
Malissa Ann Ratliff, 48, of Mitchell, passed away at 4:14 p.m.Monday, November 3, 2014, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born October 4, 1966, in Orange County, she was the daughter of Raymond Alan Ratliff and Carolyn Ann (Roll) Knoy.
She had been employed at C & M Conveyor, Inc. and was also a nurse’s aide. Malissa enjoyed watching football, especially the Indianapolis Colts.
Survivors include her mother, Carolyn Knoy, Mitchell; stepfather, Jerry (Nita) Knoy, Mitchell; brothers, Scott (Penny) Ratliff, Mitchell, Jerry (Kathy) Knoy, Mitchell; several nieces and nephews
Her father and brother, Kevin Ratliff Knoy, preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, November 7, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Reverend Dennis Alstott officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Susan E. (Fish) Linton – Lawrence County

Susan E. (Fish) Linton, 50, of Lawrence County, died at her residence on Sunday, November 2, 2014.
She was February 26, 1964 in Lafayette to Michael J. Fish and Marged (Ewing) Fish. She was a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College and Oakland City University.
She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother, she would help anyone and loved all, she will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her loving soul mate, Ronald Sipes of Bedford, the father of her children, M. Dean Linton of Bedford, her children, Brittany York, Lindsay Turpin, Chelsay Linton all of Bedford, Step-sons, Landon Minton and Ryan Sipes of Bedford, brothers, John Fish of Bedford, Bob Fish of Greenwood, Barry Diehl of Florida and Stacey Diehl of Florida, sisters, Shelly Cox of Avoca, Michele Hatfield of Bedford, her step-mother, Rita Fish of Florida, 8 grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents
Friends may call on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home with celebration of life at 7 p.m.
