Brenda K. Mills – Bedford
Brenda K. Mills, 60, of Bedford, passed away at 10:23 P.M. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at IU Health Bloomington.
Born October 14, 1953, she was the daughter of Ralph Barrett and Rose Marie (McBride) Barrett.
She was a graduate of Needmore High School, Class of 1971. She was a homemaker. She attended Dive Christian Church and the Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of the Southern Cherokee Nation of Kentucky and a member of the Southern Cherokee Council.
Surviving are one son Jay (Angelique) Floyd, of Springville; two granddaughters, Tabitha and Chloe Floyd, and a future grandson; one great grandson, Logan; two brothers, Jim (Dorothy) Barrett, of Bedford, and Tony (Sharon) Barrett, of Bedford; four nieces, and three nephews.
Funeral service will be on Monday, July 14, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Frank Ira officiating. Cremation was chosen. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call on Sunday, Noon until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Southern Cherokee Nation of Kentucky.
