Herman Lee Henderson – Brandon, FL.
Herman Lee Henderson, 85, of Brandon, FL, formerly of Bedford, IN, died on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, in Brandon, FL.
Born January 15, 1929 in Norman, Indiana, he was the son of Laura Cleveland “Cleve” Henderson and Ida Ellen Mikels Henderson.
He married Geneva Mae Speer on April 4, 1948; she preceded him in death on June 20, 1998. He was a graduate of Clearspring High School, Class of 1947. He worked as a machinist and a Quality Control Specialist at Ford Motor Company, in Indianapolis, IN. He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Henderson attended Calvary Tabernacle Church in Thonotosassa, FL, and Apostolic Faith Assembly Church in Bedford, IN.
Surviving are one son, Larry (Debbie) Henderson, of Seffner, FL; one daughter, Cheryl (Rick) Bunting, Brandon, FL; grandchildren, Heather (Jason) Carty, of Brandon, FL; Larry (Marcie) Henderson II, Lake Mary, FL; Holly (Matthew) Chambers, Sanford, NC; great-grandchildren, Rhiannon Carty, Layla Carty, and Violet Chambers; and one sister, Faye Gwaltney.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Mae Speer Henderson; brothers, Olen, Opal, Roy, Earl, Floyd, and Carl Starnes; and sisters Retta Scott and Fern Mize.
Funeral service will be on Monday, May 5, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, 2-6 p.m.. at the funeral home.

Steven Ronald Robbins, 69, of Bedford, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at his residence.
Born September 17, 1944 in Daviess Co., he was the son of Garrel Edwin and Martha Jane (Stevens) Robbins. He retired from Captain D’s Restaurant in Bedford. He graduated from Indiana University and was a member of the Outdoor Sportsman’s Club in Mitchell. He was a nature photographer, a gun enthusiast and enjoyed history, pizza,
movies and chocolate.
Survivors include a daughter, Anna Marie Westfall and husband Aaron of Orleans; a sister, Rebecca Robbins-Jesse, MD, of Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life service will be planned at a later date. For information please call

Mary Rose Haverland – Bedford
Mary Rose Haverland, 85, of Bedford, died at 8:40 am on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Garden Villa in Bedford.
Born August 19, 1928 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Maurice and Lona (Hague) Zollman. She married Phillip Frank Haverland and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and member of Tri Kappa Sorority.
Survivors include one daughter, Ana Bartlett and husband, Jeff, of Bedford; three grandsons, Mackenzie Wayne,
Atticus Quinn and Jackson Nicholas Bartlett all of Bedford; a sister-in-law, Maxine Zollman of Bedford; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, Jack Zollman.
At her request, cremation was chosen with private burial in Green Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
