Margaret McGlothlin – Bedford
Margaret McGlothlin, 81, of Springville, passed away on Sunday February 23, 2014 at 12:15 a.m. at Garden Villa in Bedford.
She was born in Bloomington on August 5, 1932 to Floyd Otis Miller, Sr. & Marie (Koontz) Miller. Margaret married Dallas McGlothlin, Sr. on March 19, 1949 and he preceded her in death on March 3, 1996. She was a member of the
Harrodsburg Assembly of God Church; she had worked at Sarkes Tarzian in Bloomington & retired from RCA in Bloomington.
Survivors include, one daughter; Becky Tolliver and husband Phil, of Springville; one son Dallas McGlothlin Jr.. of Bloomington; one brother; Floyd Miller Jr. and wife Judith, of Harrodsburg; one sister Dianna Boettjer and husband Bill of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren Penny Lawton, Phillip Tolliver, Heather McGlothlin and Jeremy McGlothlin; five geat grandchildren Chad Lawton, Andrea Tolliver, Logan Tolliver, Braden McGlothlin and Kaylee McGlothlin
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Robert V. “Dickie” Miller, sister Dorothy Marie Moore
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday February 26, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home in Bedford, burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Friends may call from Noon until service time at 1 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday February 26, 2014.
Claude Bernard “Bunny” Bough – Dover Hill
Claude Bernard “Bunny” Bough, 68, of Dover Hill, died on Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper.
He was born July 2, 1945 to the late Claude and Lucy (Jewell) Bough. His wife of 45 years, Joy (Brassine) Bough whom he married on July 6, 1968 survives and lives in Dover Hill.
Bunny prviously worked for Watterson Trucking Company, Indiana Limestone, Prefect Fit Industries and the Martin County Highway Department. He had been retired for a number of years due to a disability. He attended the Dover Hill Christian Union Church.
He is survived by one son, Jame Darin Bough, of Shoals; two brothers Gordon “Pike” Bough, of Shoals and William Joseph Bough and his wife Janice, of Martinsville; two sisters Linda Melton and husband Joe, of Yuma, AZ and Loria M. Wilson; sister-in-law Barbara Bough, of Loogootee and several nieces and nephews.
Bunny was proceded in death by his parents; brother Doyle Bough; one sister Velma Tharp and a brother James Ernest Bough in infancy.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2014 at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Dover Hill Christian Union Church. Friends may call after 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the church. He will be laid to rest in Mount Union Cemetery.

Chester Paul Shelton – Bedford
Chester Paul Shelton, 71, of Bedford, died at 7:30 am on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Garden Villa in Bedford.
Born July 22, 1943, he was the son of Gerald D. and Ruby (Lessig) Shelton. He retired from Otis Elevator as an assembler and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Viet Nam War.
Survivors include two daughters, Crystal Ray and husband, Jerry and DeeAndra Hammond all of Bedford; his companion, Ursula Newsome of Bedford; six grandchildren, Josh, Ashley, Tyler, Kayla, Jacob and Katelyn; several great grandchildren; four brothers, Steve Shelton of Shoals, Jerry Shelton of Mitchell, Doc Shelton of Bedford and Jim Shelton of Mitchell; a sister, Sheila Shelton of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Services are scheduled at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 26th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will be in Bass Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
