Ralph V. Bridges – Bedford
Ralph V. Bridges age 66 of Bedford, passed away at 2:15 a.m. on Friday January 10, 2014 at the IU Hospice House in Bloomington.
He was born in Lawrence County on May 30, 1947 to Winfred Wayne Bridges and Vida Mary Jane (Cornwell) Bridges Erdman. He married Kathryn Hutchinson Bridges on August 26, 1963 and she survives.
Ralph worked at Ford plant in Bedford, Evans Stone Company and Extruded Alloys. He was an avid dog trainer and coon hunter, loved to fish and play his guitar. He attended the Kingdom Hall in Bedford.
Survivors include his wife; Kathryn Bridges of Bedford; 3 sons Delbert (Kim) Bridges of Bedford, Vernon “Nick” Wayne Bridges and wife Cathie of Norman, Brian Lee Bridges of Norman; brother; Don Bridges of Bedford; two sisters, Elizabeth “Liz” Burgess of Bedford & Sherry (Ronnie) Peck of Bedford; 7 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Marie Flynn & Brothers, Albert Ray Bridges & Winfred “Bud” Bridges
Funeral Services will be held on Monday January 13, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home in Bedford. Friends may call on Sunday January 12, 2014 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home and on Monday From 10 :00 AM until service time at 11:00 at the funeral home
Burial will be in the Dive Cemetery
