Jan E. Skeen – Bedford
Jan E. Skeen, 57, of Bedford, died at 8:27 pm on January 6th at I.U. Health Bloomington. Arrangements are pending at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
Ruby M. Webster – Bedford
Ruby M. Webster, 93, of Bedford, died at 1:38 pm on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born March 4, 1920 in Owensburg, she was the daughter of Aesop and Minnie Lynn George. She married Raymond “Bus” Webster in 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1988. She had worked in the accounting department of J.C. Penney and as a payroll clerk at ConvaCare. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Larry Webster and wife, Sharon of Kennesaw, GA; a daughter, Carole White of Bedford; two grandchildren, Tod Zellers and wife, Kimberley of Oviedo, FL, Julie Cassidy of Mitchell; three great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law, Charles Conner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday, January 11th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Dr. Kregg Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Friday, January 10th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
The family asks that friends consider memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church.

Mark Edward Ray – Richmond
Mark Edward Ray, 64, of Richmond, died at 6:26 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at Reid Hospital in Richmond.
Born February 17, 1949, he was the son of Carroll and Margie O. (Henderson) Ray. He was a project coordinator and production controller at NWSC Crane. He was a member of the First Christian Church and enjoyed hunting, volleyball, softball and golf.
Survivors include a son, Brant Ray of Bedford; a step-daughter, Trisha Holmes of Maryland; a sister, Beverly Kasprzak and husband, Ken of Grafton, WI; two nieces, Beth Froelich of Port Washington, WI and Melanie Gram of Coral Springs, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 pm Thursday, January 9th at Mt. Pleasant Christian Cemetery with Pastor Alan Cloar officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from Noon until 2:30 pm on Thursday, January 9th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Melody Faye Mosier – Shoals
Melody Faye Mosier, 49, of Shoals, died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at her residence.
Born March 8, 1964 in Washington, IN, she was the daughter of Marvin and Joyce (Bobbitt) Montgomery. She married Stan Mosier on June 19, 1983 and he survives. She taught at Bedford High School for one year. She worked in bookkeeping, sales and technical support at Marvin’s Shop which is her family’s business and in computer layout design for Country Pines Printing. She was a member of the Dover Hill Church.
Survivors include her husband, Stan, of Shoals; her parents, Marvin and Joyce Montgomery; a son, Zach Mosier of Jasper; two step-children, Erik Mosier and wife, Tonya of Springville, Reagan Norman of Bedford; four grandchildren, Addison Mosier, Logan, Gracie and Gavin Norman; a sister, Melba Richardson of Loogootee; a brother, Ansel Montgomery of Haysville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 am on Thursday, January 9th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Mike Schlaegel officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, January 8th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Estell Ray Brown – Ft. Ritner
Estell Ray Brown, 62, Ft. Ritner, passed away on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at I.U.Health, Bedford.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Louise Brown, Ft. Ritner; two sons, Casey Cheyenne Brown and Toby Lee Cox, both of Ft. Ritner; two granddaughters and one grandson; three sisters, Mary Alice (Donnie) Coffee, Valonia, Evelyn Owens and Irene (Robert) Sexton, both of FL; three brothers, Earl Ralph (Janice) Brown, Bedford, Eugene Russell Brown, Kenray Lake and Ernest Robert (Bonnie) Brown, Medora; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
