Wilma I. Jackson – Bedford
Wilma I. Jackson, 91, of Bedford, died at 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2013, at her residence.
Born July 9, 1922 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Otis and Mona (Root) Crawford. She married Tunis “Paul” Jackson on September 22, 1943 and he passed away on February 13, 1987. Wilma was a homemaker and a graduate of Shawswick High School class of 1940.
She is survived by one daughter, Kay and husband David Tincher, of Bedford; one son Roger Jackson, of Bedford; one granddaughter Pam Brown, of Bedford; one great-grandson Devin Brown, of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by parents, husband, two sisters, Mildred Sipes and Dorothy Cully and grandson in-law P.R. Brown.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Jeff Thayer officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call on Tuesday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rita C. Wessel – Bedford
Rita C. Wessel, 67, of Bedford, died at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at her residence.
Born March 30, 1946, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Albert Dalton and Clara (Sullivan) Dalton. She married Gary Wessel on November 13, 1963; and he survives. She was co-owner and secretary of Gary Wessel Trucking, Bedford; and was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving include her husband, Gary Wessel, Bedford; three daughters, April and husband Mark Perry, Angela and husband Arthur Brown and Lucinda “Cindy” and husband Rob Owens, all of Bedford; five grandchildren, Stephanie Wray, A. J. Brown, Stephen Perry, Ashley Pittman and Lindsay Perry; five great grandchildren, Josiah Wray, Addy Pittman, Reese Wray, Riley Wray and Jase Wray; and one brother, John Dalton and wife Judy, Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Susan Denise Wessel; one great granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Perry; and three sisters, JoAnne Dalton, Dorothy Wessel and one sister in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, with Sister Becky Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
