Ralph Everett Lindley – Mitchell

Ralph Everett Lindley passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 peacefully at his home at Mill Creek Road in Mitchell, IN.
The son of Kermit and Verba Lindley, Ralph was born on October 27, 1940 in Paoli, IN. Ralph graduated from Paoli High School in 1958. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the early 1960’s on the U.S.S. Macon. He retired from Indiana Bell and was the blacksmith at Spring Mill for a few years where his legacy can be seen in the Hamer Cemetery Gate. He was a Mason, an accomplished woodworker and harmonica player who loved country music, the outdoors, NASCAR and spending time with his companion, Rita Mires.
He leaves behind a sister, Phyllis Freeman and her husband, Harold, sister-in-law Marcella Lindley, daughters Shawn King, Lori Smith and husband, Mike, and Jamie Steele and husband, Sean as well as five grandchildren, Jessica Weaver, Chelsey and Levi Smith, Lindley and Ruel Steele and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Olivia Weaver.
Preceding him in death were his parents, sister Renee Loughmiller and his brother Greg Lindley.
A celebration of Ralph’s life will take place at the Mitchell V.F.W. on Highway 60 on Sunday, October 27th the seventy-third year of his birth, at 1 p.m. and is open to those wishing to share stories, memories and laughs.
Robert Taylor – Bedford

Robert L. Taylor, 61 of Bedford passed away on Sunday, October 13th 2013.
He was born in Bedford on July 3, 1952 to Louis T & Carol R. (Stickles) Taylor. Robert graduated from Oolitic High School in 1970. He married Cathy Baker in 1977.
He will be greatly missed by his wife: Cathy Taylor of Bedford; son Eric Taylor and wife Heather of Bedford; daughter, Amanda and husband Kory Reagan of Lafayette; his mother Carol Taylor of Bedford; two brothers, Danny Taylor and wife Karen of Greenwood and Mark Taylor of Bedford; grandchildren, Lainy and Chloe Taylor, of Bedford, and grandson, baby boy Reagan, expected in November.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis and brother James L. Taylor.
Robert worked as a maintenance technician for Res-Care Inc. He loved to stay busy, doing home renovations and travelling with his family. He was also an avid IU Basketball fan.
Friends may call on Thursday October 17th, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home in Bedford. There will be a private family graveside service in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Janet G. Terry, 67, passed away Sunday, October 13, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Mark R. DeVault, 55, passed away Monday afternoon at Mitchell Manor Living and Rehabilitation Center.
