William Dennis Hicks Jr. – Arkansas
William Dennis Hicks, Jr. Age 46, passed away on July 5, 2013 in Conway, Arkansas. He was born September 15, 1966 in Bedford to William D. Hicks & Selina “Sally” (Anderson) Findley. He was a BNL High School Graduate in 1984, he was disabled and in failing health in the last year.
Survivors include his mother, Sally Findley of Bloomington; two sons, Matthew E. Hicks and his fiancé’ Megan Hood, of Bloomington and Dillon Michael Hicks, of Oolitic; sisters; Melissa Hicks Russell, of Bloomington, Susan Kathryn Goodin of Maryland, Tiffany Dawn Franklin, of Bedford; one brother Cameron Scott Hicks of Greenwood; one grandson, Aiden Kobe Hicks, of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his father, William D. Hicks, Sr. Grandmothers; Carol Anderson & Ruby Nelson
Cremation with no service.

Louise Reynolds Coleman – Mitchell
Louise Reynolds Coleman, 81, of Mitchell, passed away at 5:45 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2013, at the home of her daughter.
Born December 29, 1931, in Jonesville, Virginia, she was the daughter of Johnnie and Pauline (Hackney) Roop. She was married to John William Reynolds and he preceded her in death in July of 1965. Her second marriage was to Clayton Albert “Al” Coleman October 21, 1966, and he preceded her in death August 2, 2010.
Louise was a retired employee of RCA and a member of Fishing Creek Chapel and Freewill Baptist Church in Sefner, Florida.
Survivors include daughters, Connie Jean Reynolds Edmonson, Mitchell, Brenda Reynolds Patton and husband, Ronald, Saint Cloud, Florida; special friends, Jack (Kelly) Tyree; Donald Berg; stepsons Jerry Coleman, Wayne Coleman; grandchildren, John Cleek and wife Shelly, Kevin Cleek and wife Linda, Victor Cleek-DeCarlo and wife Jamie; several step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandsons; brother, J. E. Roop, Jonesville, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; and siblings, Sally Sue Disylvia, Harriett Fields, and David Roop.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 12, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with Bro. Darrin Chastain officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the service on Friday at the funeral home.
Casketbearers: Kannon Cleek, Ralph Terry, Kauge Cleek, Jack Tyree, Nick Tyree, and Eldon Nunley.

Beverly J. Dalton – Bedford
Beverly J. Dalton, 82, of Bedford, died at 3:55 am on Saturday, July 06, 2013 at her residence.
Born November 6, 1930 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Jack and Geraldine (O’Brien) Berrisford. She worked for Alfred’s Lunch Room then later owned Bev’s Diner. She was a lifelong member of the Lawrence County Art Association. She married Dan Dalton on June 23, 1990 and he survives.
Survivors include her husband, Dan, of Bedford; four children, Catherine Concannon of Bedford, Laura Stroud and husband Scott of Bedford, James Concannon and wife Gia of Maitlin, FL and Christianne Black and husband Mitchell of Franklin, IN, three grandchildren, Ryan Stroud and wife Barbara, Jami Stroud, Stephanie Montgomery and husband Drex, one sister, Bonnie Terrell and husband Tom of Scottsburg, IN, three great grandchildren, Darcy Grace Stroud, Lauryn Audrey Stroud and Lillianne Jane Montgomery. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, James Concannon and one brother, George Berrisford.
Her wish was to be cremated and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
