Denny G. Fortner – Bedford
Denny G. Fortner, 74 of Bedford, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday June 4, 2013. He was born on March 8, 1939 in Lawrence County to John & Blanche (Brown) Fortner. Denny married Patti Parker on October 4, 1974 in Bedford and she survives. Denny was an Operating Engineer with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local # 181, Evansville, Indiana, he was a member of the Indiana National Guard. Denny enjoyed & loved his children & family, he also enjoyed Camping & Surf Fishing.
Survivors include his wife; Patti Fortner of Bedford, one son, Trent Fortner and finance’ Qing Kang of Bloomington; one daughter, Holli Fortner and her finance’ Bart Trumpey, of Greenfield; three brothers; Robert “Bob” Fortner and wife Lavon of Peerless, Jerry Fortner and wife Jan of Bedford and Larry Fortner and wife Jill of Bedford; several nieces and nephews; two sister-in-laws; Adeline Fortner of Bedford, and Rita Fortner of Bloomington; close friends, like family; Larry and Ann Brown of Bedford
Denny was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; John (Jr.) Fortner, James A. Fortner, and Ronald H. Fortner, one sister; Marilyn J. Blackburn
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 8, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church at 1515 20th Street. Friends may call on Friday June 7, 2013 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Bedford. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens

Mary Jane Snow Coryell – Bedford
Mary Jane Snow Coryell, 86, of Bedford, died at 2 am on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Bloomington.
Born May 19, 1927 in Leesville, she was the daughter of Claude Everett and Jennie (Gillen) Greene. She married Walter K. Snow on July 13, 1946 and he preceded her in death. She later married Leo Coryell on September 18, 1971 and he also preceded her in death. She retired as a sales associate for the Lazarus Department Store in 1988. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include four daughters, Linda Kaye Snow of Bloomington, Rita Hensley and Loretta Gay Rans both of Mishawauka and Cynthia Sue Huffer of Columbus; a son, Keenan L. Snow and wife, Nancy, of Bedford; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a son, Gary Lee Snow and a step-sister, Betty Fish.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:30 pm on Saturday, June 8 at the Leesville Cemetery with Elder Hein Tlustek, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 10 am until noon on Saturday, June 8th.
