Robert L. Ingle – Bedford
Robert L. Ingle age 73 of Bedford, passed away at 6:18 pm on Thursday May 30, 2013 at his residence.
Robert was born on September 3, 1939 in Bedford to Kenneth Evertt and Mary Elizabeth (Cropp) Ingle. He married Bonnie Brown on March 6, 1959 at the Bedford Free Methodist Church and she survives. Bob retired from the Indiana National Guard as OMS Chief; he retired from the civil service on December 31, 1995 and from the US Army on June 16, 1997. He was a member of the Bedford American Legion Post #33; he served many years on the Honor Guard, & Member of Crossroads Community Church.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years Bonnie (Brown) Ingle of Bedford, one son; Steven L. Ingle and wife Sharon of Medora; two daughters; Jennifer Ingle Fetten and husband John of Clinton, New Jersey and Victoria Ingle Bridwell and husband Gary of Bedford; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; three brothers; Dick Ingle and wife Carolyn Sue of Florida, Don Ingle and wife Lana of Bedford and Jim Ingle and wife Linda of Indianapolis; sister-in-law, Marsha Ingle of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Kenny Earl Ingle
Funeral Services will be held on Monday June 3, 2013 at 10 am at Crossroads Community Church at 5000 St. Hwy 37 North. Friends may call on Sunday June 2, 2013 from 2 pm until 5 pm at Crossroads Community Church with Bro. Ken Ransom officiating. Entombment will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens, Military Rites will be given.
In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County.
Marilyn Madge Cauble – Mitchell
Marilyn Madge Cauble, 77, of Mitchell, passed away at 2:43 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born May 24, 1936, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of Claude and Mary Nettie (Fields) Chastain. Marilyn retired from Hoosier Uplands and was a Head Start bus driver. She was a member of the Mitchell Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Hammock, El Paso, Texas; sons, Lonnie Cauble, Mitchell, Kevin Cauble, Mitchell; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Curtis Chastain, Yorktown, Rev. Claude Chastain, Jr., Mitchell, sister, Rowanna Lupher, Mitchell
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Pauline LaVerne Wilkerson.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 3, at Mitchell Cemetery with Rev. Claude Chastain officiating.
