Rosemary Ann Luff – Bloomington
Rosemary Ann Luff, 80, of Bloomington, formerly of Bedford, died at 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospice House.
Born July 5, 1932 in Kentland, Indiana, she was the daughter of Luther and Ilene (Benham) Jones. She married Ferris L. Luff on May 7, 1948; he died on May 4, 2010. She was a graduate of English (IN) High School with the class of 1950. She was a member of First Nazarene Church, Bedford, where she had been very active. She had worked as an assembler at G. E., Bloomington, and later was a rural mail carrier with the U.S. Post office.
Surviving are one son, Timothy Luff, Bedford; two daughters, Cynthia (Bill) White, Spencer, and Pamela (Rick Lane) Luff, Bloomfield; one grandson, Robert Mayfield, Spencer; one great granddaughter, Kaitlynn LeeAnn Mayfield, Spencer; one step-grandson, Ryan White, Spencer; one sister, Charlene Smith, Bloomington; three brothers, Melvin Jones, Shelbyville, IN; Mervin “Red” Jones, Orleans, and Steve Jones, Brooksville, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ferris; three sisters, Vera Deno, Eloise Helm and Naomi Belcher; and one granddaughter-in-law, Wendy Mayfield.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, with Rev. Vern Hulen officiating. Burial will be in Kraft-Graceland Cemetery, Grantline Road, New Albany, IN at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2013. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
