Lyle Reuter – Bedford
Lyle Reuter, 73, of Bedford, died at 6:50 pm on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the White River Lodge.
Born February 29, 1940, in Williams,he was the son of Kenneth and Geneva (Pennington) Reuter. He married Peggy Smith and she preceded him in death on April 2, 2013. He retired from Indiana Gas and was a member of the First Baptist Church and Bedford Masonic Lodge #14 F & AM.
Survivors include a daughter, Julie Reuter of Bedford and a grandson, Kyle Ollis of Bedford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Peggy and a brother, Coy Reuter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11am on Saturday, May 18 the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Dr. Kregg Burris officiating. Entombment will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday, May 17at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Frederick D. Padgett – Bedford
Frederick D. Padgett, 59, of Bedford, had been a short term resident of Meadowview Nursing Facility in Salem. He passed from this life Tuesday evening at St. Vincent Hospital in Salem.
He was born in Bedford, on January 24, 1954, the son on Harry and Lois (Sons) Padgett. He attended Bedford High School. He was a lifelong truck driver, but the driving job he was most proud of was driving his log trucks.
He is survived by his children Mrs. Robert (Stormy) Prince, Bedford, Frederick (Mary) Padgett II, Loogotee, Jason (Ashtan) Bean, Williams, and Autumn (Evan Daugherty) Padgett, Paoli; nine grandchildren, Kaitlynn Baker, Mariah and McKenzie Prince, Chandler Padgett, Kaylee and Kristian Bean, Dalton and Abigail Barker and Piper Daugherty; one sister, Mrs. Lewis (Connie) Parker, Bedford; one nephew, Lewis Parker, Kalamazoo, MI; and one niece, Stephanie Parker, Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by the mothers of his children, Mrs. Gene (Terry) Manning and LaRena Padgett
He was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Virgil “Buck” and Rubie Sons and paternal grandparents Edward Frederick and Rowena (Fortner-Flaherty) Padgett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, with Lewis Parker officiating. Burial will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens, Bedford. Friends may call on Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
