Marion M. Robinson – Bedford
Marion M. Robinson, 84, of Bedford, passed away at 2:25 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at her residence.
Born July 9, 1928 in Oshawa, Canada, she was the daughter of Samuel and Wilhelmina (Cossar) Howie.
She married Howard Robinson on April 17, 1948; he died September 27, 2001. She was a homemaker who excelled at sewing, cooking and working in her flowers; she attended First Church of the Nazarene, Bedford; was an avid stamp and doll collector; she loved Gospel music and was very proud of her Scottish heritage.
Surviving are four sons, Robert Robinson and wife Linda, Springville; Bill Robinson and wife Susie, Bedford; Michael Robinson, Bloomington; and David L. Robinson, New Carlisle, OH; two daughters, Elaine and husband Mel Rile, Bedford; and Lisa Williams, Dayton, OH; eleven grandchildren, Mindy Mosier, Nate Robinson, Laura and husband Jake Robinson Easter, Garrett Neumann, Tiffany and husband Chris Neumann-Watercutter, Traeden Rhys Robinson, Sabrina, Amelia and Logan Robinson, Anthony Rile and Jessica Williams; three great grandchildren, Brett Mosier, Whitney Mosier and Ayden Easter; and one sister, Nancy Leonard, Hagersville, (Ontario) Canada;
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Howard; one daughter, Joanne Culham; two brothers, Joe and Howard Howie; one sister, Elizabeth Fleming; and one granddaughter, Brier Neumann.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home, Bedford, with Rev. Ken Bushey officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Bedford. Friends may call on Wednesday, 4 pm to 8 pm and on Thursday from 10 am until the service.
Memorial Contributions may be considered to Alzheimers Association; the Susan G. Komen for the Cure (Breast Cancer); or to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation.
