The following obituaries were received for Friday –


Christopher Kyle Reynolds – Mitchell
Christopher Kyle Reynolds, 20, of Mitchell, passed away at 1:42 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born February 17, 1992, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Devin and Sheila (Pridemore) Reynolds.
He enjoyed camping and fishing.
Survivors include his parents, Devin and Sheila Reynolds, of Mitchell; sister, Brittany Reynolds, of Mitchell; brother, Dakota Reynolds, of Mitchell
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, January 14, at Haverly Chapel Funeral & Cremation with Bro. Lowell Keith officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home.
Dorothea Mildred Hignite – Mitchell
Dorothea Mildred Hignite, 84, of Mitchell, passed away December 20, 2012.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013 at the Mitchell
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses under direction of Haverly Chapel
Funeral & Cremation.
Hazel Pauline Norman – Bedford
Hazel Pauline Norman, 91, of Bedford, passed away at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Bliss House in Bedford.
Born on December 31, 1921 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Earl Ramsay and Lena (Kinser) Ramsay. She retired from Visteon as a receiving clerk and was a member of Bartlettsville Christian Church. She married Verden Norman on September 2, 1943 and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include, two sons, Phil Norman and his wife Wanda, of Terre Haute and Scott Norman and his wife Cheryl, of Bedford; five grandchildren, Lana Thralls, Cara Wake, Josh Norman, Matt Norman and Sam Norman; nine great grandchildren; two sisters, Mabel Axom, of Salem and Jo Southern, of Bedford; two brothers, Harry Ramsay, of Bedford and Jim Ramsay, of Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 12th at the Bartlettsville Christian Church with Brother Tim Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Bartlettsville Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11th from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Day & Carter Mortuary and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
Donations may be made to the Bartlettsville Christian Church Building Fund.
