The following obituaries were received for Tuesday –


Lena Irene Mesarosh – Madison
Lena Irene Mesarosh, 84, formerly of Mitchell, passed away at 9:35 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2012, at Madison State Hospital in Madison.
Born December 27, 1927, in Piedmont, Missouri, she was the daughter of Andrew and Dorothy (Keynon) Mesarosh.
Survivors include her siblings, Florence Andreucci, of Mitchell, Albert Mesarosh, of Mitchell, Henry Mesarosh, of Tennessee, Walter Mesarosh, of Mitchell
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Andy Mesarosh, Johnny Mesarosh, Joseph Mesarosh, William Mesarosh, Charles Mesarosh, and James Mesarosh; and sister, Lillian Abrego.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 14, at Mitchell Cemetery with Pastor Bob Helm officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

Donald Dean Fish – Bedford
Donald Dean Fish, 78, of Bedford, passed away at 11:06 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital.
Born October 8, 1934 in Bedford, he was the son of Eathel and Grace (Anderson) Fish. He married Barbara Mae Gerkin on August 18, 1951 and she survives. He retired as the Executive Vice President of Operations for W. F. Meyers Co. in Bedford. He enjoyed mountain climbing on Mt. Saint Helen, hiking and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Bedford; children, Gary Fish and wife Gail, of Oolitic, Pamela Colglazier and husband Lee, of Campbellsburg, Phillip Fish and wife Carman, of Bedford, Karen Murnane and husband Jim, of Oolitic, Ronald Fish of Solsberry and Tracey Fish of Bedford; seventeen grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; thirty-eight great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, William “Bill” Fish and Eathel “Pete” Fish; a sister, Anita Thomason Lockridge and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am on Thursday, November 15th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Nick Mullis officiating. Burial will follow in Dive Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14th and from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday, November 15th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Janice M. Wade – Bedford
Janice M. Wade, 71, of Bedford, passed away at 5:36pm on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the I.U. Health Bedford Hospital.
Born August 15, 1941 in Detroit, MI she was the daughter of James Haywood and Opal
(Chastain) Johnson. She married Carl Wade on May 30, 1958 and he survives. She was a member of the Fairview Community Church and had worked as a greeter for Wal-Mart.
Survivors include her husband, Carl; one daughter: Jana Wade of Bedford; one granddaughter: Molly Weber of Bedford; one brother: Butch Haywood of Bedford, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Robert William.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday November 14th 2012 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Keith Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November13th.

Dorothy Turner – Oolitic
Dorothy Turner, 90, of 414 Lafayette Ave. Oolitic, passed away at 11:50 pm on Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Stonebridge Health Campus.
Born January 28, 1922 in Lawrence County she was the daughter of Jesse and Chloe (Prittchett) Ray. She married Robert Turner on November 29, 1944. She was a member of the Avoca Baptist Church. She retired from the Fuller Brush Company in Oolitic after 25 years and was also a homemaker. Dorothy loved flowers, sitting on the porch, and to crochet.
Survivors include, her husband, Robert, of Oolitic; one daughter: Carolyn McCart and husband Don, of Bloomington; two granddaughters: Michelle Duncan and husband Dan, of Bloomington, and Shannon Craig and her husband Josh, of Charlotte, NC; two great grandchildren: Liam and Lily Craig.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Kyle Witmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, November 12th.
