Dorothy J. Mosier – Bedford
Dorothy J. Mosier, 84, of Bedford, passed away at 1 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Garden Villa in Bedford.
Born March 24, 1928 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Ora and Lula (Acton) Roberts. She married Lawrence Mosier on December 7, 1943 and he preceded her in death on May 16, 1987. She was a homemaker, a member of the Leatherwood Christian Church and Order of the Easter Star Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include one son, Larry Mosier and wife Nancy, of Bedford; one granddaughter, Heather McGlothlin and husband Russel, of Portland, TN.; one grandson, Larry Mosier Jr., of Bedford; two great grandchildren, Anna and Bill McGlothlin, of Portland, TN; one sister, Helen Wagner, of Denver, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, David and Howard Roberts.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 4th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
