The following obituaries were received for Tuesday


Margaret Ellen Wadsworth – Hudson, New York
Margaret Ellen Wadsworth, 76, of Hudson, New York, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Born July 17, 1935 in Philmont, NY, she was the daughter of John Edgar and Alberta (Shutts) Bogardus. She married Gordon Wadsworth on December 12, 1953. She had worked as a bank teller and food service worker at Hudson High School. She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She maintained close relationships with her co-workers and school classmates with lunch and bunko dates. Margaret was a wonderful cook, loved to read and work on crossword puzzles.
Survivors include a son Keith Wadsworth and wife Jennifer, of Bedford; a daughter Karen Schlenker, of Islip, NY; grandchildren, Brenton Wadsworth and wife Jodi, of Forsyth, IL. Amy Nikirk and husband, Nathan, of Bedford, Erick Schlenker and wife Noelle, of Walnut Creek, C., Scott Schlenker, of Islip, NY; a great grandson, Reid Nikirk.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, John Edgar Bogardus.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9th and from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 10th at the Bond Funeral Home in Valatie, NY.
The family requests that donations be made to the charity of their choice.

Wilma Y. Hillenburg – Heltonville
Wilma Y. Hillenburg, 79, of Heltonville, passed away at 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the White River Lodge.
Born August 25, 1933 in Jackson County, she was the daughter of James and Thelma (Adams) Bailey. She married Claude Hillenburg on January 27, 1951 and he survives. She was an assembly worker at RCA/Thomson in Bloomington, retiring in 1992. She was a graduate of Heltonville High School and was a member of Fairview Community Church.
Survivors include her husband, Claude, of Heltonville; one son, Randy J. Hillenburg and wife Debra, of Indianapolis; one grandson, Nathaniel Alexander Hillenburg, of Indianapolis; two sisters, Betty Jo Todd, of Bedford and Linda Baker, of Arizona; one brother James Bailey and wife Gladys, of Bedford; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a son, Toby Lee Hillenburg.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 11th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Lindy Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Mundell Christian Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 10th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
