June M. Stedman – Bedford
June M. Stedman, 87, of Bedford, passed away at 12:03 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012 at her home.
Born September 25, 1924, in Auburn, In., she was the daughter of Garner M. and Helen (Webb) Cupp. She married Earl R. Stedman in Auburn on June 18, 1949 and he preceded her in death on April 29, 2008. She was a nurse for fifty years retiring in 1989 from the Betz Nursing Home in Auburn. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and was an avid IU basketball fan.
Survivors include two daughters, Candace and Christine Stedman, both of Bedford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Betty Krise.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 8th in the Woodland Cemetery in Auburn. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6th at Day & Carter Mortuary.
