Isaac Redmond Jr.
Isaac Redmond Jr., 54, of Bedford, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at his home.
Born December 29, 1957 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Isaac Redmond Sr. and Mary (Tallent) Redmond. He married Kelly Sanders on April 16, 1983 and she survives. He retired as a police officer with the Marion County Sheriff’s Department and had worked as a police officer at NWSC Crane. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Survivors include his wife Kelly, of Bedford; his father, Isaac Redmond, of Florida, a son, Joshua Redmond, of Bedford; a daughter Heather Mefford, of Bedford; three grandchildren, Madison, Conner and Ryleigh; two brothers David Redmond, of Brown County and Joe Redmond, of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 1 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Darryl Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Bill Bond – Bedford
Bill Bond, 62, of Bedford, passed away at his home on Friday, February 24, 2012.
Born July 27, 1949 in Anchorage, Alaska, he was the son of Robert Bond and Isabell (Rodgers) Lee. He retired from General Motors where he worked as a die caster. Bill was a member of the U.A.W. Local 440, the VFW and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in Vietnam.
Survivors include his daughter, Audrey Mason and husband Kris, of Bedford; two sisters, Barbara Ritchey and husband Roy, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Nancy Kennedy, of Billings, Montana; two brothers, Larry Lee and wife Anita, of Oolitic and Roger Lee and wife Kathy, of Bedford and two granddaughters, Isabel and Madalyn Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Olan Lee.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 29th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Roger Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memorial Gardens where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Gillen Post #333. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to the time of service on Wednesday, February 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Jerry Neal Deal – Bedford
Jerry Neal Deal, 76, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012 while vacationing in Naples, Florida, with close friends.
Born January 16, 1936, in Lawrence County, he was the son of Paul Stanley Neal and Dorothy (Rayhill) Neal.
Jerry was blessed to have two special women in his life, his wife of 42-years, Sue M. (Browning) Neal, who preceded him in death and Katherine Haseman, who gave him new life after the loss of his wife. Jerry was the rock of his family, making sure that his family was loved and taken care of in every way.
Survivors include his two daughters, Teresa Meadows and Janelle Conner and her husband Terry; and his son-in-law, Joe Dooley; eight grandchildren, Jody Dalton, Jerry Neal, Tiffany and husband Cameron Brantley, Jamin and wife Jennifer Thomas, Josh and wife Sarah Thomas, Allison and husband Jesse Parker, Erin and husband Matt Todd and Hannah Meadows; seven great grandchildren, Dean Morrow, Simone Brantley, Kambree Brantley, Marissa Todd, Paisley Todd, Preston Todd and baby Parker; and one brother Don Neal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and daughter, Sherry Dooley.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Bedford. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
