The following obituaries were received for Tuesday –


Larry G. Phemister – Bedford
Larry G. Phemister, 71, of Bedford, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 at his home.
Born May 19, 1940 in Carterville, Ill., he was the son of Cleve and Verna (Barringer) Phemister. He married Betty Woods Roll and she preceded him in death. He later married Joann Zike and she also preceded him in death. He retired from Bruner Engineering and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his step-children, Kenny Roll and wife Vickie, of Martinsville, John Roll of Bedford, Lois Burnside and husband Ron, of Vallonia, Kenneth William Taylor and wife Penny, of Bedford, Connie Prairie and husband Jim, of Vallonia; several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, both wives and a step-son, Richard Roll.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 2nd, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with David Zempel officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the hour of service on Thursday, February 2nd at Day & Carter Mortuary.

Michael Daulton – Bedford
Michael Daulton, 52, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Bloomington Hospital.
Born October 16, 1959 in Bedford, he was the son of Franklin Ross Daulton and Frances Mae (Beavers) Daulton.
He was a stonecutter and carver for several years. He graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School in 1978.
Survivors are his parents, of Bedford, one son Michael Daulton Jr., of Bedford; one sister Cindy Hunter, of Bedford and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Beth Tomey.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Dixon Chapel Cemetery in Leesville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home.
