Marguerite Mary Sheeks – Bedford
Marguerite Mary Sheeks, 96, of Bedford died Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the White River Lodge in Bedford.
Marguerite was born July 7, 1915 in Fall River, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of Joseph and Mary (O’Brien) Banbille. She married Edwin L. Sheeks in Tiverton, Rhode Island on February 9, 1950 and he survives.
She was a homemaker and a member of Hillside Mennonite Church.
Survivors include her husband, Edwin Sheeks, of Bedford; one daughter, Nancy and her husband Mike Metz, of Indianapolis; one son, Roderick Sheeks, of Bedford; granddaughter Crissie Metz, of Indianapolis; one great granddaughter Paige Mary Ann Everett; and one sister, Evelyn Santos, of Somerset, Massachusetts.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Kathleen Mellow.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8th at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. Funeral service will be Wednesday, November 9th at 11 a.m. at Queen-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sheeks Cemetery in Mitchell.
