Rosie Turpin – Bedford
Rosie Turpin died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 9 a.m. at the White River Lodge.
Rosie was born March 8, 1922 in Casey County, Kentucky to Winfred Hatchel and Mary Jane (Spaulding) Hatchel.
She married Floyd T. Turpin on August 11, 1939. He died in August 1977.
Rosie was a homemaker.
Surviving is one son, William and his wife Loretts Turpin, of Bedford; two grandchildren, Shelly Hosteller of Bedford and Mike Turpin of Terre Haute, Indiana; six great grandchildren Natasha Kinser, Sierra Hostetter, Garrett Hostetter, Alessia Turpin, Alexis Turpin and Jaunathan Turpin; two great-great grandchildren, Parker and Kingston Marshall; one sister Essy Bastin, of Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 3, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Ferguson-lee Funeral Home in Bedford, Indiana. Burial will follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens in Bedford, Indiana.
