James Flynn – Bloomington
James Flynn of Bloomington passed away Monday afternoon at his home at the age of 81.
Born in 1930 in Monroe County to Frank and Beulah Flynn, James married Barbara Price and she preceded him in death in 2007.
James is survived by his daughters Cheryl, Jami, Kimberly, Mary Lou and Betty, brothers Joe, Frank and Dean, sisters Wanda, Ethie, Monagail, Brenda, Edith and Mae, 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Lonnie, brother Darrell and sister Faye.
Visitation is friday from 10am to 2pm at Day and Carter, funeral services beginning Friday at 2pm at Day and Carter with burial to follow at Clover Hill Cemetery.
Daniel Pruett – Mitchell
Daniel Pruett of Mitchell passed away Monday night at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital in Bedford at the age of 43.
Born in Bedford to Danny and Carolyn Pruett, he married Glenda Parker and she preceded him in death in 2009.
Daniel is survived by his parents, son Christopher, sister Dian and Vicky, five step children Ben, Sara, Joey, Josh and Teddy and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife and brother Jimmy.
Visitation is Friday from 4pm to 8pm at Day and Carter.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2pm at Day and Carter with burial to follow at Mitchell Cemetery.
David Grissom – Mitchell
David Grissom of Mitchell passed away Thursday at his home at the age of 58.
Born in 1952 in Lawrence County to Herbert and Barbara Ann Grissom, David was a member of the Bedford Boat and Sportsmen Club and a veteran of the Indiana National Guard.
David is survived by his sons Brian and Aaron, step children Christy and Donnie, brothers Steve and Mark, sisters Vicky, Annie, and Paula and 8 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 10am on Saturday at Mitchell Church of the Nazarene.
