Beaulah I. James – Plainfield
Beaulah I. James of Plainfield passed away on Wednesday, May 18th at Stonebridge Health Campus at the age of 88. Born in 1922 in Bedford to George Henry and Myrtle Luther, she had been married to Woodrow James and was retired from Indiana Bell and attended Avon Christian Church. She is survived by two nieces, Sheila Elkins and Amber George and a nephew, John David Livingston. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Ansel Luther and one sister, Gretna Elkins. Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, May 21st at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Robert W. “Bobby” Brinkworth – Mitchell
Robert W. “Bobby” Brinkworth of Mitchell passed away on Wednesday, May 18th at his residence at the age of 76. Born in 1934 in Mitchell to William H. and Inez Brinkworth, he had been married to Betty L. Chatham since 1955, was retired from Naval Surface Warfare Center and was a member of Orleans Masonic Lodge No. 153 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Murat Shrine, and Past Master of Mitchell Masonic Lodge No. 228 F&AM. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church, was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post No. 250. He is survived by his wife; daughters, Debra Mueller and Cindy Reed; several grandchildren; one brother, Fred Brinkworth. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Kenneth Brinkworth and Donald Brinkworth. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 21st in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with entombment to follow in Cresthaven Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday and from 9:30AM until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home. A Masonic Memorial Service will be at 7:30PM on Friday at the funeral home.
