Harold Guthrie – Bedford
Harold Guthrie of Bedford passed away on Wednesday, January 12th at his residence at the age of 65. Born in 1945 in Bedford to Harold and Helen Guthrie, he had been married to Sharon Odom since 1965, was a tool and die maker with General Motors for 44 years, was a graduate of Shawswick High School in the class of 1964 and was a member of the Pinhook Church of Christ UAW 440. He is survived by his mother; one son, Gregory Guthrie; one daughter, Sharyl Harper; two brothers, Arthur Guthrie and Paul Guthrie; as well as several grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, January 15th at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Pinhook Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, January 14th at the funeral home.
Terry Pemberton – Oolitic
Terry Pemberton of Oolitic passed away on Wednesday, January 12th at his residence at the age of 60. Born in 1950 in Bedford to Robert and Bertha Pemberton, he had been married to Becky Ritchison since 1970, was a concrete and maintenance worker at NSA Crane for 30 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he received a Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife; one son, Terry Pemberton and his wife Jona; two daughters, Vonda Russell and her husband Gene and Vanie Doty; one brother, Tony Pemberton and his wife Melissa; two sisters, Bobbie Pemberton and Frankie Pemberton; as well as several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marilyn Pemberton and one brother, Robert Pemberton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, January 14th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until the hour of service on Friday, January 14th at the funeral home.
