Ruth Tolliver – Oolitic
Ruth Tolliver of Oolitic passed away on Sunday, January 2nd at Garden Villa at the age of 88. Born in 1922 in Oolitic to William and Ella Troxel, she had been married to Chester Tolliver since 1941, was a homemaker and was of Pentecostal faith. She is survived by one daughter, Karen Kean; three sons, Chuck Tolliver and his wife Joyce, Jerry Tolliver and his wife Ruth Ann, Darrell Tolliver and his wife LeAnn; as well as several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Bill Tolliver and three brothers, Forrest, Boyd and Freeman Troxel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, January 6th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the hour of service on Thursday, January 6th at Day & Carter Mortuary.
