The following obituaries were received on Monday.


Kenneth A. McKamey – Mitchell
Kenneth A. McKamey of Mitchell passed away on Saturday, January 1st at Mitchell Manor and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 91. Born in 1919 in Cloverdale to Guy and Mary McKamey, he had been married to Esther B. Talbott since 1950, was employed for over 30 years at Indiana University and was a member of Unionville Church of Christ. Kenneth was also a Master Sergeant in the Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Esther McKamey; his sister-in-law Joanne Talbott; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three infant siblings and a niece and nephew. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 4th at 2:30PM at Talbott Cemetery with military honors accorded by American Legion Post No. 250 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until 2:00PM on Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home.
Paul Cummings – Forsyth, Missouri
Paul Cummings of Forsyth, Missouri passed away on Thursday, December 30th at Table Rock Healthcare at the age of 67. Born in 1943 in Bedford to Sylvester and Ruby Cummings, he had been married to Sunnie Beasley since 1964, was a veteran of the United State Air Force, was a member of the First Baptist Church, Gideons International Forsyth Camp, Missouri Pilot Association, Missouri Quiet Birds and the American Legion. Paul had also worked many years as a corporate pilot for the Hamilton/Sundstrand Corporation. He is survived by his wife; sons, Eric Cummings and his wife Shelbi and Patrick Cummings and his wife Lori; as well as several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Ruth Cox and Alice Blackburn. Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, January 5th in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Hone with burial to follow in Huron Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until the hour of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
