Russell Edmund White – Mitchell
Russell Edmund White of Mitchell passed away on Wednesday, November 17th at his residence at the age of 70. Born in 1940 in Washington County to William Bernard and Nellie Mabel White, he had been married to Karen Sue Toon since 1992, was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion Post No. 250. He was retired from the CSX Railroad and was a member of the House of Prayer Elletsville and the Bedford Boat and Sportsmen’s Club. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Sherri Ann Wingler; one son, Stuart White; stepchildren, Wesley Wicherson, Dana Wicherson and Angelenia Thompson; one sister, Martha Gallion; brothers, Bob White and Roger White; as well as several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Russell White Jr.; as well as one brother Phillip White. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, November 21st in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mitchell Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded graveside by the American Legion Post No. 250 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 9107. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 7:00PM on Saturday and from 12:30PM until the hour of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Ralph Stough – Satellite Beach
Ralph Stough of Satellite Beach, formerly of Bedford passed away on Wednesday, November 3rd at Palm Bay Hospital at the age of 61. Born in 1949 in Bedford to Ralph William and Geraldine Stough, he had attended Bedford High School and was an active member of the Bedford Boys Club. He is survived by two sisters, Nancy Carol Bertley and Myra Henry; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 22nd at 1:30PM at Beech Grove Cemetery with burial to follow.
Mary Jane Baker – Bedford
Mary Jane Baker of Bedford passed away on Thursday, November 18th at her residence at the age of 64. Born in 1946 in Bedford to Joe and Nettie Garland, she had been married to Maxwell Laverne Baker since 1962 and had worked at M. Fine & Sons for over 20 years and at P.R.D. for 11 years. Mary Jane attended Cornerstone Worship Center. She is survived by one son, Gerald Baker and his wife, Kelley; two daughters, Sandi Adams and her husband Joe and Amanda Baker; as well as several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Judy Watson and Joyce Sipes. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, November 21st in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow in Clark Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Saturday, November 20th at Day & Carter Mortuary.
