Ethan G. Shirley – Bedford
Ethan G. Shirley of Bedford passed away Wednesday morning, October 13th at Schneck Medical Center at the age of 18. Born in 1992 in Lawrence County to Dale Shirley and Stephanie Mason, he worked for Joseph Sonderoth Contracting, was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School, was a member of Judah Church of Christ, Lawrence County FAA, Lawrence County 4-H, Sheep and Dairy Club. He is survived by his parents; one sister, Olivia Shirley; step-sisters, Abby and Annie Mason; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 18th at 10:00AM at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Dixon Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until 8:00PM on Sunday, October 17th at the funeral home.
Charles Frederick Tucker – Campbellsburg
Charles Frederick Tucker of Campbellsburg passed away Tuesday evening, October 12th at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 62. Born in 1947 in New York to Charles Frederick and Julia Ann Tucker, he was raised on Homestead Farms. Charles also worked on farms in New Zealand, Australia and Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Dawn; his mother; one son, Charles Tucker IV and his wife, Penpun; one daughter, Maria Tucker; one brother, Scott; as well as several grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, October 17th in Hamer Cemetery.
James Parish – Bedford
James Parish of Bedford passed away Thursday morning, October 14th at his residence at the age of 43. Born in 1967 in Indianapolis to Herbert and Margaret Parish and Earl and Donna Gully and Betty Gully, he was a cook at Pappa’s Restaurant. He is survived by his fiancé, Ronda Davis; three sisters, Darlene London, Ronda George and her husband Marty, Michelle Gray and her husband Charles; his parents and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and mother, Betty Gully. Private services will be held under the direction of Day & Carter Mortuary.
