William Estel Williams of Mitchell passed away Sunday evening, August 15 at St. Vincent Dunn Hospital at the age of 74. Born in 1936 to William and Ethel Williams, he served in the Army and was a retired warehouse foreman from Naval Weapons Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division and was a member of Bride of Christ Fellowship. He is survived by his wife, sons, 2 brothers, sister and several step-daughters and grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death. Funeral service will be at 2:00pm Thursday at Bride of Christ Fellowship. Burial will be in the Mitchell Cemetary with military honors. Friends may call from 11:00am until the time of service on Thursday at the church.
Donna Lee Cummings of Bedford died on Sunday, August 15th. Born in 1935 to Ivory and Lillian Johnson, she was a Mary Kay Cosmetic Consultant and a clerk at Smith’s Shoe Store. She was a member and the youth pastor a the Free Methodist Church in Bedford. She is survived by two daughters, one son, two brothers, grandchildren and several great grandchildren. A private family service will be conducted. Burial will follow at Mundell Cemetery. No visitation hours are scheduled.
Julie Ann VanMeter of Richardson, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 11th at Whitney Lake in Texas. Born in 1989 to Roger and Judy VanMeter, she was a server at Dave and Busters. She is survived by her parents, a sister, grandmother and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be at 2:00pm Wednesday, August 18 in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetary. Friends my call from 11:00am until the service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Kenneth Dale Hillenburg of Heltonville, passed away Saturday, August 14th at his residence. Born in 1951 to Emert and Mildred Hillenburg, he was a retired tool and die maker with General Motors. He is survived by a fiance, two daughters, one son, a sister and several grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 1:00pm Thursday, August 19 at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home. Friends may call from 11:00am until the time of the service on Thursday.
