William Alan Napler – Mitchell
William Alan Napier of Mitchell, known to friends and family as “Tiger” passed away Sunday morning, April 11th at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 43. Born in 1966 in Bedford, he was a water treatment analyst, being employed at Atom Chemical Company, was a member of the Mitchell Church of Christ and was affiliated with the Sons of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He is survived by his mother, Nadine Terry; one step-brother, Mike Terry; and one step-sister, Patty Walls. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Terry. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 15th at 10:00AM at the Mitchell Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Wednesday at the funeral home and from 9:00AM until the hour of service on Thursday.
Audrey F Bowling – Springville
Audrey F. Bowling of Springville passed away Sunday evening, April 11th at Stonebridge Health Campus at the age of 88. Born in 1921 in Greene County to parents Emery and Odena Roberts, she had been married to Charles Bowling since 1943. Audrey was retired from RCA in Bloomington and was a member of the Popcorn Christian Church. She is survived by one daughter, Janet McMillan and her husband Gerald; as well as several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Garoki Bowling; as well as one brother, Kermit Roberts. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 16th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow in Lowder Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, April 15th at the funeral home.
Lloyd Sowders – Bedford
Lloyd Sowders of Bedford passed away Sunday evening, April 11th at St. Vincent Hospital at the age of 84. Born in 1925 in Lawrence County to parents Orville and Pearl Sowders, he had been married to Bonnie Jean Axsom. Lloyd was survived by his wife; three sons, Mark Sowders and his wife Rhonda, Edwin Sowders and his wife Janet, Curtis Sowders; one daughter, Deborah Clevenger; as well as several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Wayne Sowders. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 15th at 2:00PM at the Hilltop Pentecostal Church with burial to follow in Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until 9:00PM on Wednesday, April 14th at Day & Carter Mortuary and from noon until the hour of service on Thursday, April 15th at Hilltop Pentecostal Church.
Charles Cazee – Bedford
Charles Cazee of Bedford passed away on Monday, April 12th at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 81. Arrangements are pending at Day & Carter Mortuary.
