Ethel Marie Stancombe of Mitchell passed away Wednesday morning, March 24th at her residence at the age of 70.
Born in 1940 in Bedford to parents Clyde and Nettie Stancombe, she was a babysitter for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Young and Teresa Rigsby; several grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Pridemore and Juanita Ballinger; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson; sisters, Gertrude Lutes, Winona Stancombe and Leora Parker; brothers, Leonard, Manuel, Donald, Manferd, Lenuel and Lennie Stancombe.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, March 26th at 1:00PM in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mitchell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the hour of service on Friday.
