Lovetta J. Russell of Bedford passed away Wednesday morning, February 17th at her daughter’s home at the age of 84.
Born in 1925 to parents John M. and Lorene (Franklin) Peyton, she was a registered nurse with Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Lovetta had been married to Jack Russell. She is survived by four daughters, Rebecca L. Nicely, Kathleen Waltman, Irene Newkirk and Maria Edwards; four sons, Richard E. Russell, Mathew W. Russell, Tim T. Russell and John T. Russell; two brothers, Charles Peyton and Douglas Peyton; as well as several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 27th at 11:00AM in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary.
Visitation will be from 10:00AM until the hour of service on Saturday.
