Pauline Merry of Mitchell passed away Friday morning, January 22nd at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 94.
Born in 1915 in Lawrence County to parents, George and Lela (White) Tincher, she had been married to Richard Merry since 1933.
Pauline was retired from General Electric and was a member of the Huron Church of God.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Merry and Watson Merry and his wife Sharon Kay; as well as several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter-in-law, Thelma Merry; one brother, Gilbert Tincher; as well as sisters, Genevieve King and W. Charlene Williams.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 26th at 10:00AM in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow in Bryantsville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3:00PM until 7:00PM on Monday, January 25th and from 9:00AM until the hour of service on Tuesday, January 26th at the funeral home.
