Michael Scott Ratcliff of Bedford passed away Monday morning, January 11th at this residence at the age of 45.
Born in 1964 in Seymour, Indiana to Ronald and Sandra (Deckard) Ratcliff, he was adopted and raised by his grandparents, Audy and Inez (Nichols) Ratcliff.
Michael was a retired sheet metal worker for Ratcliff Enterprises, Inc., was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School in the class of 1983, was a member of Mundell Christian Church and the Sheet Metal Workers Local #20.
He is survived by his mother and father; one daughter, Kamie and her husband Early “Ed” Brashear; three grandchildren; one brother, Matt Ratcliff and his wife Ginger; three sisters, Billie Shoup and her husband Jeff, Polly Hughes and her husband Ellis and Audrey Cline and her husband Bob as well as one step-sister, Elizabteh Jackson.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents who raised him; one daughter Brogan Elizabeth Ratcliff in infancy; one brother, Mark Ratcliff; one sister, Cynthia Kenworthy and one step-brother, Kenneth Jackson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 15th at 11:00AM at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mundell Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, January 14th at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
