Roy Thomas Garland of Bedford passed away Thursday evening, December 24th at the age of 56.
Born in 1953 in Hammond, Indiana to parents Willie H. Garland and Violet (Duke) Garland, he was a truck driver and a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by two daughters, Susan Denise Garland Melvin and Misty Dawn Garland Wiley; two sons, Danny Joe Garland and Jerry Dale Garland; two sisters, Diane L. Burnie and Doris Jones; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew.
Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
