Ollie Ray Burton of Mitchell passed away Thursday morning at Bedford Regional Medical Center at the age of 75.
Born in 1933 in Orange County to Roy and mildred Burton, Ollie was retired from General Motors and a member of the UAW Local 440 and Mt. Horeb Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Charlotte, sons Kevin and Danny, daughters Kelli and Judy, brother Leroy, sisters Linda and Ruth Ann, and 4 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother ralph, sister betty and a grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Monday at Chastain Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mitchell Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 – 6pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
