Tilda Herald of Mitchell passed away Sunday morning at Bedford Reginoal Medical Center at the age of 79.
Born in 1930 in Evarts Kentucky to Marion and Millie Cook, Tilda was a member of the Chapel on the Hill.
She is survived by her sons Jerry, Tom, Jeremiah and Johnny, daughters Cynthia and Nancy, 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Johnnie, and son John.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday in Mitchell Cemetery at 10:30am.
Visitation is from 6-8pm on Monday at Chastain Funeral Home.
