Nanny P. Lee of Bedford passed away Tuesday evening at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 84.
Born in 1924 in Lawrence County to parents Joseph and Ida (Kern) Rainey, Nanny retired from RCA in Bloomington in 1988 after 37 years of service, was a member of the Church of Christ in Fayetteville, a former member of Ladies of the Moose and had been married to James Lee who preceded her in death in 1997.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Sue Bough and her husband Rodney; son James Michael Lee and his wife Loretta; six grandchildren, Rhea Dawn Bough, James Michael Lee, John David Lee, Janeen Dianna Gardner and her husband Jay, Regina Meyer and her husband Roger, Tracy Hall and her husband Scott; six great-grandchildren; her parents; husband; daughter, Lettie Joanna Les; brother, Cecil Rainey; sisters, Viola Rainey and Louella Sullivan.
Services will be held Friday at 11:00AM at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fayetteville Church of Christ Cemetery.
Visitation is Thursday from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Ferguson – Lee Funeral Home.
