Sarah Catherine James known to friends as “Katie” passed away Tuesday afternoon at her residence at the age of 91.
Born in 1917 in Lawrence County to parents Farris and Sarah (Dalton) Bolding, Katie was married to John A. James and was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Stephen James. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Donna Jean McClain Beasley; three sisters, Lola Hancock, Ruth Alexander, Elsie Dobkins; two brothers, Ted and Chet Bolding.
Services will be held Friday (July 17th) at 1:00 PM from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation is Thursday (July 16th) from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Day & Carter Mortuary
