Robert Chad Clifton of Oak Manor passed away Thursday afternoon at Dunn Memorial Hospital at the age of 35.
Born in 1973 in Linton to parents Newell and Judy (Fish) Clifton, Robert was employed with Cosner Ice Company and a member of First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his first wife Michelle Morley and later wife Holly Kimbley; his parents; four children, Alexis, Brianna, Jeferey, Nichole, and Mackenzie; maternal grandmother, Nellie; paternal grandmother, Genefem; his companion, Tracy Mathis; one uncle, Marvin; and his wife Linda; three aunts, Janie and her husband Chuck, Babrara, and Janet and her husband Terry; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Emmit; and one brother, Jeffery.
He loved his family and friends dearly. He loved all sports; his favorites were NASCAR, basketball, and pool.
Services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation is Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Day & Carter Mortuary.
