Elmer Richter of Springville passed away Friday evening at his home at the age of 79.
Born in 1930 in Greensburg to Everett and Alice Richter, Elmer was a veteran of the US Air Force.
He is survived by his wife Ruth, sons, Maurice and Kevin, daughters Cheryl and Dee, 20 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sons Stuart and Preston, brothers Daniel and Wayne and sister Mary.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at Day and Carter starting at 2pm with burial to follow at Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
