Eugene L. Strunk of Avoca passed away Monday at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 78.
Born in 1930 in Oolitic to Luther and Sena Strunk, Eugene was the pastor of Meadows Community Church and retired homebuilder.
He is survived by his son Michael, daughters Shirley, Patricia and Terri, brothers Bob, Claude and Don, sisters Betty, Linda and Bonnie, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Luanne.
Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30pm at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with burial to follow.
Visitation will be from 3:00 until 8:00pm tomorrow at Cresthaven Funeral Home.
