Kermit W. Curtis of Bloomington, formerly of Bedford, passed away Sunday morning at Golden Living Center in Bloomington at the age of 89.
Born in 1919 in Oakland, Illinois to John and Essie Curtis, Kermit was a farmer and member of Gulletts Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons Jack, Jerry, and John, daughter Judy, 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Josephine, daughter Margueritte, son Donald, one grandson, and 6 brothers and sisters.
Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at Gulletts Creek Baptist Church with burial to follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Bloomington.
Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00pm today at Day & Carter Mortuary and again from 11:00am until time of service tomorrow at the church.
