Leona E. Elliott of Bedford passed away early this morning at Garden Villa in Bedford at the age of 81.
Born in 1928 in Lawrence County to Albert and daisy Reynolds, Leona was a homemaker, and member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughters Wanda and Sandra, son Michael, sisters Phyllis and Wilma, brothers Gail and Jerry, 4 grandsons, and 4 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband jack.
Services will be held Friday morning at 10:00am at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00pm tomorrow at Day & Carter.
